Here’s some verse on the events of Mark 9:2-8.
On The Mountain With Jesus
Up the high mountain the four of them went,
Peter, James, John, and the One heaven sent.
There He was transfigured before their eyes,
His appearance became luminous and glorified.
Then Elijah and Moses came into their view,
They were there with Jesus and spoke with Him too.
The disciples were overwhelmed and of fearful persuasion,
Peter said they would make shelters to mark the occasion.
But he didn’t know what he was saying,
He spoke on a whim,
Then God spoke about Jesus from a cloud and said,
“Listen to Him!”
Then suddenly it was over and all they could see,
Was the cross bearing Messiah of Galilee.
