Here’s some verse from Mark 10:13-16.
Jesus And The Little Children
Little children were being brought to Jesus,
It’s a glorious scene to savor.
They wanted the best for them as every parent does,
So they came seeking His favor.
The disciples were stewing in their own juices they were,
Arguing who was greatest and acting so insecure.
They rebuked those who were bringing their little ones to Him,
They were so close to the Christ and yet so dim.
Jesus wouldn’t stand for it and rebuked them in turn,
They were so off base and had so much to learn.
Children are models of how to receive,
Take a look at them and learn how to believe.
For unless you receive the kingdom as a child,
You and the Lord will never be reconciled!
Into His arms the children went,
And were blessed by the One who was heaven sent.
